Edgar - Butter Zip Hoodie
The poem The Raven by E.A. Poe recounts the tormented night of a man suffering over the death of his beloved, Lenore. A raven enters through the window and perches on the bust of Pallas Athena, a symbol of reason. The man begins to question it about his grief and Lenore, asking if he will ever see her again in the afterlife. The raven responds only ever with one word: “Nevermore!” With every question, its answer becomes more devastating to him, transforming from a simple echo into a condemnation: the certainty that his pain will never end. In the final stanza, the raven remains motionless like an eternal omen, while the man realizes that his soul will remain trapped forever in its own darkness, under the shadow of the bird.
