The second is the analysis of change, described in the yojijukugo 龍頭蛇尾, which means "dragon's head, snake's tail" and invites attention to how a circumstance evolves beyond its initial premises. Here, concentration is directed towards the movement from the past to the present. Armed with these two perspectives, the samurai can turn to the future, which is now the new present, and seize the moment.
